Dr. Noah Turk
Pediatric Dentist/Tooth Genie/Father
The tooth fairy may not be real, but the “tooth genie” is alive and well!
Meet kid’s dental specialist Dr. Noah Turk, a highly specialized and awarded pediatric dentist. We call him the kids’ dental care genie.
Dr. Turk has had comprehensive training in behavioural guidance techniques relating specifically to pediatric dentistry. As a father, he has all the understanding of genuine care with genuine empathy for kids that comes with that role. This trio of achievements makes him uniquely qualified to lead our dental team in helping your child navigate down a smiling path to lifelong dental health.
Dr. Noah was born and raised in Toronto where he completed his undergraduate studies at York University. He went on to complete his dental training as well as his two-year residency in Pediatric Dentistry at Nova Southeastern University in Florida and served as chief resident at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital. Upon graduating, he was presented with several awards including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Award.
Applied Behavioural Analysis
During and beyond his residency, Dr. Noah pursued further educational opportunities including comprehensive studies in behavioural guidance techniques and children’s oral care treatments using general anesthesia and oral conscious sedation. He has also worked extensively with children with Autism. This has given him a deep understanding of how to use Applied Behavioral Analysis when dealing with children as patients.
Following graduation, Dr. Noah moved his family back to the Toronto area. He has since worked in various dental clinics across Southern Ontario and is well-known as the pediatric dentist to visit.
For all his academic and career achievements, Dr. Noah is first and foremost a father. And it is this role that has really helped develop his reputation as a pediatric dentist who can turn every visit to the dentist – commonly dreaded by kids and parents alike – into an adventure!
Our Mission
Our dental team, as well as Dr. Noah, firmly believes that a child should never be afraid to visit the dentist.
Every child that visits our dental clinic is special. Our goal is to help them discover how much fun visiting the dentist can be. We want them to feel safe, comfortable, and engaged.
Our Simcoe Kids Dental clinic has been specially designed for kids; a place where they can relax and enjoy themselves, even as they receive the oral care they need.
As a parent, you can also feel assured that your child is receiving the very best dental care using the very latest in dental techniques, technologies, and tools.
When Dr. Noah isn’t being a tooth genie, he can be found spending family time with his wife Shira and their four children. PS. The family that flosses every day together, will stay together!
